Undetectable.io with Rotating Mobile Proxies: Setup
Undetectable.io keeps browser identities apart. It runs on Windows and macOS, and every profile has its own fingerprint and its own proxy slot, so ten profiles on one laptop can look like ten unrelated people. DoubleProx supplies the other half of that picture: rotating USA mobile proxies on real AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon SIMs, with unlimited IP changes and no wait between them. Put the two together and each profile can hold a steady carrier IP while it works, then move to a brand new address the moment the job is finished. This guide covers the fields to fill in, how to confirm the line is live, a rotation routine that does not log you out of anything, and what to do when something looks off. At the end you will find GoLogin as the alternative if Undetectable.io does not fit your setup.
How Undetectable.io profiles take a proxy
Each Undetectable.io profile has its own proxy setting. You choose HTTP or SOCKS5, then enter a host, a port, a login and a password. A built-in proxy check connects through the line and tells you whether it works and which IP it lands on. Because the setting lives on the profile, two profiles never borrow each other's connection by accident.
Profiles come in two flavours. Local profiles are kept on the machine you created them on. Cloud profiles sit in your account and can be opened from another device. The free plan starts you with up to 5 cloud profiles, and paid plans add room as the count climbs. On paid plans you can also import proxies in bulk rather than typing each one in.
On the DoubleProx side, every proxy row in your dashboard lists a host, an HTTP port, a SOCKS5 port, a username, a password and a rotation link. That is the full set of values the profile needs, plus the one link that makes rotation painless.
Setting up a DoubleProx line in a profile
Have the dashboard and Undetectable.io side by side before you begin. The whole job takes a couple of minutes per profile.
- Open an existing profile or create a fresh one in Undetectable.io.
- In the proxy settings, select HTTP for browsing or SOCKS5 if your workflow prefers it.
- Paste the host from the DoubleProx dashboard, then the port that matches the type you chose.
- Paste the username and password from the same proxy row.
- Press the proxy check and confirm a US carrier IP comes back.
- Save, launch the profile, and visit an IP lookup page to see the same address in the browser itself.
- HTTP and SOCKS5 use different ports on the same host; mixing them up is the top cause of failed checks.
- Keep the rotation link next to the profile name in your notes, or in any change IP URL field your tools offer.
- Label profiles by metro so you can see at a glance which line serves which identity.
A rotation routine that never breaks a session
DoubleProx lines are sticky by default. The carrier IP stays put until you ask for a new one, which is exactly what a logged-in profile needs. Changing address halfway through a checkout or a login flow is how sessions get flagged, so the rule is to rotate at task boundaries, not inside them.
The routine our customers settle on looks like this. Finish the task, close the profile, open the rotation link for its line, and reopen the profile once the new address is live. The host, port and login never change, so there is nothing to edit in Undetectable.io. Because rotations are unlimited and there is no wait between changes, you can repeat that cycle before every task if your work calls for a clean start each time.
Per-request rotation, where every connection gets a different IP, is available too. It suits scripted checks far better than a browser profile, so leave it off for anything that holds cookies or a login.
Making each new IP look like the same person
A fresh address only helps if the rest of the profile agrees with it. Set the time zone, language and geolocation to follow the proxy IP instead of fixing them by hand. Then every rotation, and every location move, pulls those values along automatically.
Point WebRTC at the proxy's IP as well. A profile that shows a carrier IP to the page but your home address through WebRTC tells the site two different stories.
DoubleProx lines are spread over New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Phoenix, Miami, North Carolina and Boston. Each rotation keeps you in the same metro and on the same carrier, so a Houston profile stays a Houston profile no matter how many times its IP changes.
Scaling up with one line per identity
Give every profile its own DoubleProx line. Unlimited rotation means one line already produces as many addresses as a profile could want over time, so there is no reason to stretch a single line across several identities that use the same platform.
When a profile needs to move city, do it yourself: location moves are free and self-service from the dashboard. Run the proxy check in Undetectable.io afterwards so the time zone updates. On larger Undetectable.io plans, profiles can be shared with teammates, and each line keeps its own credentials, so access for one person can change without touching the rest.
When a rotating profile misbehaves
Check fails with an auth error: the port does not match the type, or the password picked up a stray space. Copy both again from the dashboard.
Check passes but a site sees your real IP: WebRTC is the usual leak. Set it to the proxy address and test again.
Time zone is off after a rotation or a move: the profile has a manual time zone. Switch it to follow the IP and reopen the profile.
IP changed in the middle of a task: something called the rotation link while the profile was open. Move that call to after the profile closes.
Undetectable.io first, GoLogin as the alternative
For DoubleProx customers on Windows or macOS we suggest Undetectable.io first. The free plan is enough to pair a few profiles with rotating lines and see the routine above in action.
GoLogin is the alternative worth knowing. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, has Android and iOS apps, and its paste field accepts host:port:user:pass in one go, which suits teams that want to drive rotation from an API. We have a separate DoubleProx guide for GoLogin.
Frequently asked
Do I have to change anything in Undetectable.io after rotating?
No. The rotation link swaps the IP on our side and the host, port and login stay valid. Close the profile before rotating and reopen it after, so the session begins on the new address.
How many times can I rotate a DoubleProx line?
As many times as you want. You can rotate as often as you like, back to back, with no cooldown. The only sensible limit is your own workflow: rotate between tasks, never during one.
Should the profile use HTTP or SOCKS5?
HTTP is the easy choice for browser work. SOCKS5 is there if your workflow needs it. Both run on the same host with the same login; just use the matching port.
Can I keep the same city after rotating?
Yes. A rotation gives you a new IP from the same modem, so the metro and carrier stay the same. To change city, use the free self-service location move in the dashboard.
